David Peters

Publications Manager

My name’s David. I’m the guy who makes Magneto. Born in Africa – I came to New Zealand for the safety but stayed for the people. When I’m not designing and editing the magazine, I’m making tunes with The Pyramid Scheme.  I’m chipping away at a pilot’s license and publishing a graphic novel. Stay tuned!

Matt Shandz

Sponsorship, Advertising

matt

Hey chaps, I am taking over the reigns of Magneto advertising, sponsorship and of course, the clubs.

You may not notice in the black and white photo but there are a few grey hairs starting to sprout through, though far from being called an ‘’oldie’’ I have had a stressful working career before choosing to study at Massey.

I love the campus, the people and the uniqueness of Massey and want to work hard to establish and support many new clubs for the students. Feel free to cruise by for a chat if you have any ideas about a club that you know will make Massey all the more special. I’ll do my best to help out.

Until then, keep on trucking, keep your powder dry, may your best be your worst and other such clichés

Mary Bess

Publications Intern

mary bess

Hi, I’m Mary Bess. I’m interning at Magneto this semester. I post content on the Magneto website, help with distribution and brainstorm ideas for the future of this (relatively new) position.

I’m an exchange student from Kansas City, Missouri in the United States.

When I’m not working in the mawsa office, I’m either in class or planning day trips and travel around your incredible country.

Favourite things about New Zealand so far: The abundant fish n’ chips, tramping trails and the humble, dry-humoured people.

Travel plans: North Island tour for break, South Island tour after final exams and ending at the Bay of Islands mid-November, before jetting home from Auckland.
