Alex Lloyd is currently MAWSA president, and also the University Caucus chair.
He has worked as a chef and pastry chef for 6 years in 3 different countries. In this role he has picked up some good logic based skills and of course time management was one of the biggest skill learnt. Working with a diverse range of people in a heated environment was often the biggest challenge, language barriers and sometimes cultural. In these years as a chef Alex learnt that the world is a diverse place and people can be different in some way, but really, people are people. After returning Back to NZ Alex was looking for a challenge, this is how Alex ended up studying Engineering technology at Massey University. Alex also managed to turn a 3 year degree into a 4 year degree. Alex was elected into the role of student president for Massey University Wellington for 2010.
