MASSEY ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNICATION STUDENTS (MACS)

Massey Association of Communication Students is a group of students working together to help other students have a better time at Uni and be better prepared for the big wide world.


MOMENTUM

Momentum gets students learning about skills and resources needed to grow an idea by building connections with graduates, staff, resources and businesses, we build the confidence to give life to our ideas. We provide an environment for the unexpected, so students can make a difference in the world

ARISE CHURCH

CHINESE STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION (CSA)

Provide support and social activities for Chinese students at Massey and after.


INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY (ISOC)

Provide networking and a sense of belonging for all students and a platform and for both international and domestic students to mingle, learn from each other and organise and run their own events.


KOHA COFFEE

Koha coffee is a club that exists to create space to build community over coffee, and to explore coffee culture around the world. We run a tea and coffee cart in the Co-Lab space (SST Level 2) on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am-2pm.


KŌKIRI NGĀTAHI

Kokiri Ngatahi provides support and community for Māori students of the Massey Wellington Campus. The name, which, means ‘Advance Together’, recognises the importance of Manaakitanga and whakawhanaungatana for success and describes the way Māori students, in one strong unit, must persevere and strive forward to achieve goals.


MASSEY ASSOCIATION OF PASIFIKA STUDENTS (MAPS)

MAPS is a club where Pasifika students can come together in a family environment to share their thoughts about their studies and get any support they need.

MAWSA is committed to creating a supportive and enjoyable environment for all students, regardless of age or stage!


STUDENT LIFE

Student Life Wellington is part of Student Life NZ. Student Life is a happening group of Christians around the country who are keen to help people on their spiritual journey towards knowing God personally.

Uni Q is a Queer representative group, providing support and running events for queer students and friends at Massey Wellington.


SPORTS & RECREATION CLUBS


FUTSAL CLUB

Social, mixed teams who participate in the weekly league run by the rec centre each semester – entry fees are subsidised.


MASSEY OUTDOOR RECREATION CLUB (MORC)

Born in 2014 MORC are all about awesome adventures both during the semester and over the long summer holidays. Think snow, surf, hiking, mountain biking camping, you name it they’re keen!

Massey Rowing Club is a fun, social club for all rowers, competitive and social

The motorcycle club aims to bring together motorcycle riders and enthusiasts at Massey Wellington.


ART & PERFORMANCE CLUBS


EXPRESSIVE ARTS CLUB

A collaboration of creative arts students who share work and create opportunities for showcasing to a wider audience.


DANCE CLUB

Bringing students together through dance, choreography and performances and dance videos. Focussing on hip-hop, breaking, contemporary, freestyle – you name it we jam it.


FILM CLUB

Get together with the film club, watch films, make films and review and chat about films. Field trips throughout the year.


ILLUSTRATION AND NARRATIVE CLUB

Providing a place of socialisation, critique, practice and enjoyment for those who are interested in illustration, fantasy and sci-fi art and other forms of visual storytelling.


LIFE DRAWING

Providing a social art space for students to practice life drawing skills at minimal cost and develop friendships with like-minded students.


MUSIC SOCIETY

A music collective where students can meet, jam and develop music opportunities on campus and within the wider city.
