Join the Massey Fruit & Veg Co-op and enjoy inexpensive fresh produce available right from campus!

The co-op is a partnership between Massey students and staff, Wellington Region Public Health, Wesley Community Action and other communities around Wellington. It is non-profit and operates by buying in bulk with many other fruit & vegetable co-operatives around Wellington and using volunteers to pack the bags.




What’s in it for you?

For $12 you receive one bag of fruit and one of vegetables, comprising of 6-8 varieties. These bags of fresh, seasonal food are great value (cheaper than the supermarket as they often contain around $20 of produce) and can be picked up at your hall or from campus at Campus Co-lab every Tuesday.


How to order

Before your first order, fill out the sign up form (link above).

Pre-pay for your bags by each Wednesday to trigger your order. It will be packed at Kāinga Rua and available for pick up on the following Tuesday.

Campus Co-lab
On campus, Lvl 2 SST Building (two floors above Tussock).
Tuesday 2–4pm

Kāinga Rua (Residents only)
At Massey Hall on Taranaki St (across the road from The Cube).

If you cannot make these pick up times please arrange someone else to collect your order or email Produce is perishable therefore will be put on MAWSA’s free shelf if not collected.



The co-op cannot run without the help of volunteers so, we need you! If you want to help the community have access to affordable fruit and veg and can spare 2 hours on a Tuesday morning (even just once a semester) to help pack fruit and veg into bags then sign up at or please email
