THIS IS AN R18 EVENT
Any person under the age of 18 will be refused entry.
NAME CHANGES/TICKET TRANSFERS
Name changes on tickets will incur a $5 processing fee.
POSTPONEMENTS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or cancelled once issued except in accordance with the applicable NZ laws.
In the event of a postponement, tickets for the original date will be valid for the new date unless otherwise notified. Purchasers have the option to seek a refund for the value of the purchased ticket(s) for a postponed event by contacting MAWSA prior to the replacement date for the postponed event.
Personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk. Liability for the cancellation or rescheduling of an event, or for material changes to an event, will be limited to the refund as set out above.
NOTIFICATION OF CANCELLATION
It is your responsibility to be aware of whether the event has been cancelled or re-scheduled and the date and time of the re-scheduled event. Where an event is cancelled or re-scheduled, we will use all reasonable endeavours to notify you using the details you provided us with at the time of ordering. We do not guarantee that you will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the Event.
It is Your responsibility to inform us of any change to the phone number or email address you provide us with at the time of ordering.
CHANGES IN PROGRAM
MAWSA reserves the right to withdraw, replace, add or substitute artists or performers without notice.
Ticket purchases are limited to a total of 2 tickets per Massey Wellington student. Purchasers must be current Massey University Wellington Students. Guests who are not Massey Wellington Students must be on the same ticket as a current student (‘plus-ones’). Plus-one tickets will be limited to 300 people and will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
Plus-ones will only be added to already-purchased tickets at the discretion of MAWSA.
REFUSAL OF ADMISSION, OR EJECTION FOR OBJECTIONABLE BEHAVIOUR
Both MAWSA and the venue reserve the right, without refund, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose behaviour does not comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the venue or by MAWSA at the event.
This includes, but is not limited to, any person who arrives intoxicated, becomes intoxicated throughout the event, exhibits other antisocial behaviour, commits vandalism, harassment, or the consumes any illegal substances.
MAWSA reserves the right to inform Massey University of any student whose behaviour is inconsistent with the Code of Student Conduct. This may result in disciplinary action.
The following will not be permitted in the venue:
- Animals (with the exception of guide dogs)
- Laser pens
- Your own food and drink
- Bottles, cans or glass containers
- Any item which may be interpreted as a potential weapon including sharp or pointed objects (e.g. knives)
- Illegal substances
- Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades or bicycles
- Any dangerous goods and any items capable of causing a public nuisance
DRUGS AND ALCOHOL
The venue reserves the right to refuse entry to the venue based on suspected intoxication or substance abuse.
The venue reserves the right to conduct bag checks and breath testing by security personnel at the entry to the venue.
No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the venue and guests will be instantly removed from the venue if suspected of this activity. Only alcohol purchased at the event is to be consumed.
There will be a zero-tolerance policy regarding the consumption of illegal substances at the event. Any person found consuming or carrying illegal drugs will be removed and the police will be contacted.
The event is entirely smoke-free. Any person caught smoking on the premises will be removed from the event.
Any person suspected of spiking drinks will be ejected from the venue and the police will be contacted.
THEFT OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Neither MAWSA nor the venue will be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of your personal belongings.
PERMISSION TO USE RECORDINGS AND PHOTOGRAPHS
MAWSA reserves the right to use photographs and videos from the event for future promotion. This material will also be uploaded to our social media channels. If you wish to have an item removed, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
By purchasing tickets to the ball, you give permission to MAWSA to store your contact information and contact you about future events on campus. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time. MAWSA will store your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993.
